Welcome to the website of Our Lady Star of the Sea in Brixham and St John the Baptist in Dartmouth, two parishes within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Plymouth, situated on the beautiful South Devon coast.   Two Catholic Primary Schools, St Margaret Clitherow in Brixham and St John the Baptist in Dartmouth, are located within our boundaries.  The presbytery and the parish office are situated in Brixham, telephone 01803  853406. 

FR. SUNNY PAUL: The bishop has invited Fr. Sunny Paul MSFS to come to our parishes as the next priest-in-charge. He is a priest not of our diocese but of the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales. At the moment he is chaplain to a school, and his commitments mean that he will be able to come to the parishes to begin his ministry here in mid August. Until that time, the bishop and the dean are organising that the parish is served by supply priests over the intervening weekends. Do please pray for Fr. Sunny Paul as he prepares to leave his current appointment and come here to South Devon. May he bring God’s blessing with him and witness to the love of God for you all.
